Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has condemned the US-Israeli military aggression on Iran, and expressed condolences over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Muttaqi and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation on Monday, the third day of the US-Israeli aggression.
The Afghan official said that the act of aggression is a clear violation of all principles of international law.
Araghchi said that the aggressors have attacked residential areas, hospitals, schools, and sports complexes, emphasizing that Iran will use all its power to halt the enemy’s evil acts and make it regret its aggression.
In addition to the war in Iran, the two officials also spoke about the ongoing clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Araghchi said that Iran continues to closely monitor the developments regarding those clashes, expressing hope that the two Muslim countries resolve their differences through dialogue.
